Greetings and salutations and welcome to another Monday Visions! The fall equinox was Saturday and I just knew I had to ring in the changing season with a little style. So I put on my comfiest outfit and began a slow flow yoga session beginning at 9:54 p.m. exactly, the precise time of the equinox this year. And boy was it lovely! I was able to clear my head, let go of some things that were needlessly holding me down, and honor the changing of the seasons as well as the changes in store for myself. My gears have been a turning in discontent lately and the equinox seemed like the perfect time to stop any bad habits in their tracks and turn over a new leaf. I’ve given my whole routine a makeover. Oh boy! Oh boy!! Oh boy!!! Saturday was the fall 🍂 equinox and that means it’s officially my favorite season. There’s so much to love!! The changing leaves 🍁 the pumpkins 🎃 the crisp cool mornings 🌄 the root veggies 🍠 the soups and chili 🍜 the scary movies 👻 the fires 🔥 the cozy clothes 👢 not to mention tea 🍵 out the wazoo! Seriously tho, don’t mention the teas. I might have a tad too many (wait, wait, wait… is that even possible?). An addiction some may say, but poo on those naysayers is what I say. To be fair tho, I should probably not buy anymore until I get down to a reasonable amount… And that might take a few 🌑🌒🌓🌔🌕🌖🌗🌘 ya know what I’m saying. Anywho, I digress. Welcome to my very first Monday Visions! These posts will be where I lay out my goals, mantras, and foreseeable challenges for the upcoming week, as well as any rewards I can look forward to after crushing those goals into crumbly victorious dust. I’ll also be keeping a running track of several stats, so enjoy watching those numbers rise. Fridays we’ll come full circle, catch up and review how the week’s played out thus far. Yoga 2x a day, morning and afternoon/evening. Complete week one of yoga camp, a 30 day yoga program. Meditation 2x a day, morning and night. One self led, the other guided. Deep clean and organize my areas of living. Create a clean, calm, comfortable, space that is crafting, yoga, and meditation (not to mention alliteration) friendly.
