“Words are but the vague shadows of the volumes we mean. Little audible links, they are, chaining together great inaudible feelings and purposes.”Theodore Dreiser

Ah well, what is there to say about this day? The blue was strong with this day. Blue leggings, shirt with some blue waves, blue jewelry. I was blue head to toe! I own a lot of blue lol and thank goodness. It isn’t super fun when you have to scrounge and get stupid creative to find the colors you’re looking to use to stimulate that particular chakra. So woohoo for blue, got that color out the wazoo in my closet.

I worked on my throat chakra yoga and did my Dedicate practice as well. I feel like this practice wasn’t maybe as “difficult,” if you will, as the other ones. It didn’t seem to me that it brought up as many emotions as the other practices have. I was hoping to get some tasty blue foods, blackberries or blueberries, but I didn’t have any. However, soothing, warming foods and liquids are wonderful for this chakra, so I most certainly sipped on my hot tea throughout the day. I have a 32 or 36 (or somewhere around there) oz insulated water bottle that I’ve started using mainly for tea. It. Is. Perfection. In hot tea form.

As you might remember if you’ve taken a quick peek at my other posts, that I have been feeling a wee bit blue (haha no pun intended) lately and so I told myself that I would go out that this evening. I think that this little act will greatly improve my mood. Now, I frankly don’t enjoy going out and doing things by myself much. It’s lonely and intimidating and honestly not much fun. But since I’d be lonely and not having much fun at home alone anyway, I figured it’d be best if I got my butt in gear, made myself up fairly pretty like and headed out for a night out. Still dressed in my blue I hope this will be a soul energizing decision….

No pictures of me practicing today because I spaced on taking them.
